Prague, August 17, 2024 – The Red Bull Showrun presented by foodora, delivered an unforgettable experience for motorsport enthusiasts in Prague's Karlín district, attracting over 17,000 attendees. The event featured exhilarating exhibition runs of Formula 1 cars, racing vehicles, and motorcycles, bringing the excitement of motorsport directly to the streets of Prague.

Among the main stars was legendary Scottish driver David Coulthard, who took the wheel of the iconic Red Bull Racing RB7 and wowed the crowd with a breathtaking performance.

The Showrun provided an exciting fusion of motorsport, urban spectacle, and entertainment, as drivers showcased their skills outside the closed circuits and on the city’s iconic streets. Events of this nature have become hugely popular around the world, drawing motorsport and adrenaline fans. "When they first see and hear a racing car up close, people are always amazed by how fast and loud it is. And they always cheer at the end of the show," said Chris Gregory, from the Red Bull Racing team.

The Red Bull Racing team brought the iconic RB7 car to Prague, a vehicle that was used during the 2011 Formula 1 season. The RB7, which secured twelve Grand Prix wins and saw Sebastian Vettel crowned World Champion that year, is renowned for its impressive performance. "The RB7 boasts 750 horsepower, an 8-cylinder engine with a 2,400 cm³ displacement, and can reach up to 18,000 RPM. It weighs about 650 kg and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds," explained Gregory.

The Red Bull Showrun presented by foodora also featured other elite names from the world of motorsport. Other star were Arūnas "Aras" Gibieža, the Lithuanian stuntman who performed breathtaking feats with his KTM 990 DUKE "THE SNIPER" or the multiple champions in international drifting competitions, the brotherly duo Johannes Hountondji and Elias Hountond.
